University of Melbourne will review all disputed claims and process a refund under the following circumstances.
a. Amounts relating to multiple payments mistakenly made online.
b. Any payments made via the web payments system for a particular event that has been subsequently cancelled.
c. An event registration cancellation request made by a customer 10 working days prior to the event date.
d. Errors that occur on our web payment system at the payment processing level. This will be subject to a review by the Advancement Office to determine if the error was substantially caused by University of Melbourne.
No refunds will be issued by University of Melbourne for event registration cancellations made after the 10 working days cancellation notification period.
If you paid by a credit card please note your refund will be processed to your credit card. Allow 7-14 business working days for refund processing.

Tickets will not be issued, however your booking will be confirmed by email.
All transactions for paid events will be billed in Australian dollars.
Where possible, we will endeavour to accommodate any special requests including seating preferences, dietary requirements etc, however we cannot guarantee the fulfilment of these requests. Notifying the event managers of all special requests at least 10 business days prior to the event will increase the likelihood of these requests being fulfilled.
We take photos at many events, and make them available for download later on. We like to share these photos with the alumni network online and through our magazines, newsletters, invitations and other promotional material, so if you’re not comfortable with this or don’t want your photo taken at all, please let the event photographer know.
